National City Scholarship Tour

The "How Sweet It Is Scholarship Tour" will be traveling around the state of Kentucky for its sixth consecutive year in 2009. The National City Trophy Tour provides students and fans with a chance to see the "big trophy", as well as offering high school seniors a chance to win one of 32 one-time $1,000 scholarships to be awarded to 16 boys and 16 girls throughout the Commonwealth during the Boys' National City/KHSAA Sweet 16 ® Basketball Tournament in March.
One boy and one girl from each of Kentucky's 16 regions will receive a scholarship. This scholarship award is open to any senior student-athlete in Kentucky. Scholarships will be based on excellence in four areas-Academic Achievement, Leadership, Citizenship and Sportsmanship.
Trophy will be on display with scholarships at school gymnasium lobby of each game.

- [02/13] Region 13: At North Laurel - North Laurel vs. South Laurel
- [02/20] At Bryan Station - Bryan Station vs. Mason County
The Sweet 16 Scholarship application deadline has been extended to February 25th due to schools being closed statewide for weather issues.
